SUMMARY:Flag Book- Beginner Friendly Bookbinding Class
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to upcycle every day materials into a flag book in this fun\, no-sew\, beginner friendly bookbinding class! Discover the “party trick” that makes this structure so unique\, and create a book perfect for scrapbooking\, 2D mixed media art\, photo albums\, and more. \n\n\n\nAll materials are provided\, including pressed flowers\, fancy paper for embellishments\, and a take-home zine with illustrations and detailed instructions. If you would like to create a photo album during this class\, you are welcome to bring photos (recommended 10-20 photos; should be smaller than 8 cm by 12 cm). \n\n\n\nStudents can expect to create a flag book measuring about 10 cm wide\, 14 cm long\, and 2-3 cm thick at the spine\, with time to embellish the cover and decorate the inner pages. Please wear comfortable and casual clothes. This project requires careful folding and gluing\, and may include use of scissors.
