The workshop encourages curiosity\, builds confident\, and imaginative thinking while introducing simple foundations of animal and character design. \n\n\n\nMaterials\n\n\n\nAll materials will be provided. Participants will work with graphite pencils\, black drawing pens\, coloured pencils\, markers\, sketch paper\, and heavier drawing paper for their final creature designs.

DESCRIPTION:Bring your ideas to life\n\n\n\nIn this hands-on animation workshop\, participants will discover the magic of stop-motion by creating characters\, building simple scenes\, and transforming their ideas into short animated sequences. \n\n\n\nParticipants will experiment with clay animation\, paper cutouts\, and pixilation – using their own bodies as animated characters. Along the way\, they will explore movement\, timing\, storytelling\, composition\, and visual problem-solving while working independently and collaboratively. The workshop encourages imagination\, experimentation\, and playful filmmaking from the first idea to the final frame. \n\n\n\nMaterials\n\n\n\nEach participant must have access to a camera and a tripod or camera stand for creating the animations during the class. A phone camera works as well.

Rather than simply copying existing characters\, they will remix what they learn into new ideas\, refine their designs\, and begin building a personal visual voice. \n\n\n\nMaterials\n\n\n\nAll materials will be provided.
