DESCRIPTION:After-School Art Class with Jennifer O’Brien \n\n\n\nJoin professional artist and experienced instructor\, Jennifer O’Brien\, for a dynamic after-school art class where creativity takes center stage! In a fun and supportive environment\, students will build confidence and discover their unique artistic voice while exploring a wide variety of materials and techniques. From sculpting with clay and painting with watercolors and acrylics\, to drawing with pastels and experimenting with mixed media\, each project encourages personal expression and creative exploration. \n\n\n\nPlease note: students must be within the listed age range at the start of the course. \n\n\n\nNote:  \n\n\n\nThis class is facilitated by one teacher alone. If your child requires additional one-on-one support\, they are welcome to attend with a responsible helper. On a case-by-case basis\, providing a responsible helper may be a requirement for participation. Please contact the Education Coordinator at education@ladysmitharts.ca or 250-245-1252 to discuss the unique needs of your child. \n\n\n\n \n\n\n\nPlease Bring: \n\n\n\n– a water bottle and nut-free snack \n\n\n\n– clothes that can get paint or glue on them
