Paint, sketch, and work with clay to depict all sorts of winged things from bugs and birds to fairies and dragons. This class will allow young artists to take flight.

About the Event

In this four-day visual arts camp, participants will be invited to find inspiration from nature and beyond. From dragons to dragonflies, we will study all sorts of winged creatures. Half of each day will be spent in creating vivid 2-D art projects with Josslyn Meyers, and the other half of each day will cover exciting 3-D clay art projects with Jennifer O'Brien. Both instructors bring with them a wealth of experience as arts educators and artists. Between all the fun art activities, there will be supervised play, lunch, and snack breaks. Students can expect to come away with a strengthened sense of creative self-expression and a fresh appreciation for the imaginative fun and possibilities of making art.

Children who have completed Kindergarten but who haven't quite turned 6 yet are also welcome.
