Join us in the quince orchard during harvest season for a four-hour plein air gathering at beautiful Quinceotica Farm in Yellow Point. Meander, write, sketch, paint, and leave with freshly picked quince.

About the Event

This four-hour experience is all about meandering, creating, and sharing. Seek and celebrate inspiration in a relaxed, country setting. Enjoy quince-covered trees at Quinceotica Farm in Yellow Point, and farmer/poet/painter John Edwards will tour you around and share poetry before turning you loose for free range creating with artist/educator/curator Leona Pendrak.

Itinerary:

  • 9:45 AM Meet John Edwards at the furthest end of Doole Road at the gate to Quinceotica Farm

  • 10:00 to 11:00 AM Enjoy a guided tour through the quince orchards with roaming poetry readings by John Edwards

  • 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM Watch Leona demonstrate, then wander freely to paint/write/sketch with a map of the grounds provided by John

  • 1:00 to 2:00 PM Gather together on the deck for provided refreshments and an optional sharing of what you've been working on
