Hand In Clay: A Four Week Journey

Time & Location

May 01, 2025, 4:00 p.m. – May 22, 2025, 6:00 p.m.

Ladysmith, 444 Parkhill Terrace, Ladysmith, BC V9G 1V6, Canada

About the Event

This 4-week hand-building workshop focuses on traditional techniques, leaving the pottery wheel behind in favor of slab building, coiling, pinch pots, and texturing. The emphasis is on exploration, creativity, and crafting something truly unique.

Participants are invited to get their hands dirty, relax, and experience the joy of bringing a piece to life from start to finish.

About Your Instructor:

Lilach is a potter and ceramic artist with a talent for transforming clay into functional and beautiful handmade pieces. With years of experience in the craft, working with clay remains an exciting and inspiring process, from developing new ideas to the anticipation of opening the kiln.

Passionate about sharing the art of pottery, Lilach enjoys teaching and guiding others in discovering their own creativity. No prior experience is necessary — if making a pancake is possible, so is creating with clay.
